We’re here to help

Many of the people we serve need large numbers of items, sometimes urgently. Customers do not need to be referred to us by another organisation but many are signposted.

Organisations who signpost to us include:
Social Services, Homeless and vulnerably housed support (Harrogate Borough Council and Harrogate Homeless Project), IDAS women’s refuge, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Harrogate Foodbank and Resurrected Bites, Christians Against Poverty, Churches, GPs, Schools, Refugees & asylum seekers support groups

How we operate

Harrogate Clothes Bank was set up in 2016 and is a St Mark’s Church (Leeds Road) project.

Governance is provided by St Mark’s Parochial Church Council (PCC) and the church provides ongoing operational support; banking, HR (safeguarding, etc.) and public liability insurance.

We welcome volunteers and customers of any faith and no faith, and we encourage an environment of mutual respect

Charity No: (St Mark’s Church) 1134657
